SNAKE BEACH is set in St. Ives Bay. More specifically it is set in Hayle Towans. Despite the title of the novel, Hayle Towans remains Lisa’s favourite place in the whole world, and her love for Hayle is what made her set the novel there. Jenny Grand, the main character of GOD HATES THIS PLACE also loves Hayle, but when things begin to wrong for the town, she wonders if God has it in for the people of Hayle, hence the title. Lisa dreams of the day that she will be able to move with her family to live in a Hayle Towans chalet overlooking the beach.
SURF TOWN is set on the beaches around Newquay and at a cove in Japan. More details to follow.
